Every day is a brand-new day.

Recovery is possible. And if it wasn’t, we wouldn’t be here.

Welcome to Pathway to Serenity, a state-licensed Residential Treatment Facility dedicated to providing safe residential substance abuse treatment for men. Founder Rodney Owens began his pathway in 1997, and from day one, he witnessed how recovery changes lives from the inside out. His idea was to create a safe program that felt like home. No frills, just comfort, brotherhood, and support groups.

Living in a treatment facility doesn’t have to be expensive. We admit clients on a case-by-case basis, ensuring they receive the treatment they need. Our staff will be by your side as you encounter the challenges of sober living. Detoxing, discomforts, or concerns about communal living are addressed, and every individual receives a custom approach.

We believe that recovery is always within reach, no matter your story or how many times you’ve tried before. With the right treatment program and support system, lasting change is possible. Every step counts, and you don’t have to walk this path alone.

Recovery from alcohol and drug addiction is a difficult and complex journey for many reasons. Chemical and behavioral addictions deeply impact brain chemistry, making cravings and withdrawals physically overwhelming. Emotional challenges such as trauma, shame, and co-occurring mental health issues often intensify the urge to return to substances or behaviors, as they once served as coping mechanisms in stressful times. Social pressures, stigma, and lack of understanding from friends and family can leave individuals feeling isolated or judged.

Know this: The Pathway to Serenity treatment program will never judge you.

Relapse risk is high without a strong rehabilitation program, particularly during early recovery, because cravings, withdrawal, and self-doubt can regularly disrupt progress. Developing new coping tools, building healthy routines, and facing triggers without old comforts demand enormous courage and effort. Genuine healing during and after your rehab program takes time, patience, and supportive treatment. You might need several attempts and ongoing care to succeed. Ultimately, lasting recovery requires rewiring habits, addressing deep emotional wounds, and creating positive environments that nurture new choices every day.

Through years of dedication in the field of residential substance abuse programs, Rodney and his wife, Barbara, discovered their passion and purpose were perfectly aligned: helping addicted men build a stronger foundation and become the men they are meant to be.

Seek brotherhood, sobriety, and a safe place to live.
